Living To 100 How To Improve Your Chances Of Living Longer
Improve Your Chances of Living 100 Years
Many people wish to reach the age of 100 but how can the common man improve their chances of reaching such goal?
Just like our ancestors before us, it is good to observe what animals are capable of living that long and retaining good health.
Some reptiles, birds, fish, and jellyfish can easily live well past 100 and they do not have access to specialized medical equipment. They don't eat special enhanced food or do crazy cardio workouts and yet they outlive the common man.
These are all animals that aren't especially strong in a fight compared to animals like lions and rhinoceros or even eagles yet they outlive them all.
Having observed all these facts let's dive into the reasons why these animals can live so long.
The animals in question are either vegetarian or live off other fish that are easily captured. They live in rather stress-free environments where they are either at the top of the food chain or ignored by other predators.
All of these animals tend to have a good muscle to fat proportions especially birds and fish. The birds require it to be able to fly and the fish tend to have a great muscle to fat proportions because they are pretty much constantly on the move.
The reptiles also need to keep low fat and high muscle to allow the tortoises to carry such a heavy shell or in the case of lizards to allow them to climb trees.
If just a few simple factors, like diet, living stress-free and walking regularly could allow every human being to reach 100 then how come so many do not.
It is truly quite simple when you think about it because human beings are victims of the society they live in.Most people do not even realize it but since we as people keep chasing goals set to us by the society we often become victims and lose sight of what matters.
As people, we are bombarded by food ads that suggest we eat unhealthily so we fall into the trap of eating garbage, unlike animals who eat based on instinct.
People keep chasing dreams of higher paychecks, fancy houses and other such things leading to higher levels of stress due to the extra build up of maintenance fees etc...whilst these other animals live without a care in the world apart from finding food like grass, plants or easy to grab shrimp or fish.
So as human beings we keep giving so much power away to all this nonsense that really helps kill us faster than needed.
There are other factors that can really increase our lifespan.Unlike animals who live on all fours and sleep on the ground, we invented beds thinking that sleeping on a cushy mattress was a good idea.
In actual fact sleeping on a rigid wooden flat surface is much smarter.
Sleeping on a flat hard surface also helps one notice if they have any cysts or other health problems as they come straight up to the surface when laying down and applying basic pressure to them as opposed to a cushy mattress where they stay hidden until it may be too late.
Stretching, learning to relax our body as well as taking naps during afternoons especially on weekends can also greatly reduce problems we incur due to gravity. We were designed to be quadrupeds but since like everything else we do as humans, we chose to become full-time bi-peds and go against nature we have now developed weak upper bodies and lots of back problems.
Another thing we can do as human beings to relieve gravity on our spine is to crawl around the house or relax in a swimming pool or do yoga.
Among those animals who can live the longest we have the Tortoise know to live 250 years maybe more and one can only but wonder if part of why they live so long is because unlike the other animals their Karmic footprint is practically inexistent.
Living their entire lives possibly only killing a few insects accidentally they must be the gentlest of creatures cohabitating our planet.
In conclusion, if you want to be like a turtle you must learn to live as closely to how a turtle lives within reason of course.
In truth, a human being who lives exactly like a turtle would not survive in our fast paced society so one must find a balance that allows them to increase their chance to make it to 100 without neglecting the many responsibilities that come with being human.
